While the scope of work was not unusual, the challenge for this project was that a creek ran between the construction team and the site. Our team rerouted the creek to gain access to the site and to make way for constructing the new facility. BCCG also overcame challenges to bring power to the site by working closely with local utility providers to coordinate a solution.

The Times Dispatch Distribution Center was built to support increases of local business distribution services for companies in the Richmond area and designed to support multiple tenants. BCCG provided Design-Build and value engineering services for the 185,000 SF facility, which is a concrete tilt-up structure with steel framing and TPO roof. The addition of this new distribution center adds new jobs to the community.
