The Hyundai project in Superior Township, Michigan is making remarkable strides as it moves forward.

In the FCIL, we’ve achieved significant progress. The camera pit floor slab has been successfully poured, providing a solid foundation for the project. On June 29th, we poured the motor room’s SOG (Slab-on-Grade), a crucial step in the construction process. Next week, we’re gearing up to install the camera pit frame, bringing us one step closer to completion. Additionally, we’re excited to kick off fire protection work within the next two weeks, ensuring safety and compliance.

Turning our attention to the STIL, we’ve hit notable milestones. The completion of insulated metal panels on the west wall is a true feat, highlighting the expertise of our team. This weekend, we have a concrete mezzanine pouring scheduled, adding another level of functionality to the project. Meanwhile, we’ve already begun the installation of metal studs and drywall in various areas, specifically the labs. Fire protection work on the mezzanine is successfully wrapped up, while HVAC and electrical rough-ins are in full swing. Wiring activities commenced on June 29th, keeping the project’s energy flowing.

On the site itself, a flurry of activities is underway. Our dedicated team is currently working on the installation of the water meter pit, eagerly awaiting confirmation of the meter length from the county. The VDA is all set and ready for action, with pavers scheduled to begin their magic on July 5th, surpassing the initial timeline. Furthermore, we’re strategically redistributing topsoil throughout the site, enhancing the overall landscape and creating an appealing environment.

Looking forward, we have an exciting lineup of tasks on the horizon. On July 10th, we’ll be busy cutting roof scuppers and mobilizing roofing activities, giving the project an added touch of excellence. The same date marks the start of painting, bringing vibrant colors to our spaces and injecting life into the project. By the end of the week, we’ll have framed and poured housekeeping pads in the electrical room, optimizing functionality and organization. Meanwhile, other ongoing activities include drywall hanging, completion of bathroom rough-ins, and steady progress with electrical in-wall rough-ins.

The Hyundai project in Superior Township, Michigan is on a solid trajectory. With various components nearing completion and a well-coordinated schedule of upcoming tasks, we’re proud of the progress we’ve achieved thus far. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we continue to build a remarkable project together!
