We are delighted to announce that BCCG along side Brookwood Capital Partners (BCP) have been honored with the prestigious EPA’s Excellence in Site Reuse Award for our exceptional work on the RoadOne project in Norfolk, Virginia. This accolade is a testament to our entire teams dedication to environmental preservation and community development.

In collaboration with the EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, BCCG and BCP transformed 45 acres of contaminated Superfund site into a remarkable 338,000 square foot warehouse. This feat involved the removal of over 6,200 munitions items and 200,000 pounds of munitions debris, ensuring the safety of the surrounding community. Additionally, more than 2,000 tons of contaminated soil were extracted, making room for a new stormwater system and paving the way for a sustainable future.

The impact of our efforts goes beyond the environmental realm. This redevelopment initiative has created a significant economic boost, generating 300 jobs in both construction and warehouse operation. By preventing potential ecological risks, we are not only revitalizing the land but also safeguarding the future of the area. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners and the entire BCCG team for their unwavering dedication to this transformative project. Together, we are shaping a greener, safer, and more prosperous tomorrow for the Suffolk and Hampton Roads community.
