Hyundai’s visionary investment of $51.4 million in this facility underscores their unwavering commitment to vehicle safety. This facility will play a pivotal role in identifying and preventing potential vehicle field issues, enhancing crash prevention measures, and ensuring the safety of passengers.
The project involved the construction of complex structures, including conventional and pre-engineered metal buildings, primary and secondary power distribution systems, battery recharging functions, and cutting-edge laboratories for inspection, control, and analysis. BCCG worked closely with select trade contractors to deliver a comprehensive solution that met Hyundai’s critical needs while maintaining a competitive advantage.
Our innovative Early Procurement Strategy, coupled with an aggressive cost reduction plan through Value Engineering, resulted in documented cost savings of $3.7 million, with a target of achieving $3.9 million, all while ensuring cost certainty during the design process.
We understand the importance of timely project delivery, and our commitment to performance metrics is evident in our willingness to put a portion of our fee at risk.
