A national developer specializing in manufacturing facilities sought the expertise of BC Construction Group (BCCG) to provide a quality, cost-efficient facility solution for its tenant Lake Cable, a wire and cable manufacturer. With an increase in their customer base, Lake Cable requires additional production and storage spaces to support business growth and development.
BCCG is serving as General Contractor for the building construction and Design-Builder for electrical only. The 84,500 SF pre-engineered metal building solution will include 45,430 SF of added short-term storage warehouse and distribution space, and 38,800 SF of manufacturing and assembly space. The remaining square footage encompasses a shipping office, restrooms, and a trucker’s breakroom. BCCG will also renovate the existing offices to better serve Lake Cable’s needs. The scope of work also includes 44 new parking spaces and additional dock doors to improve efficiency in the order fulfillment and logistics processes.
