The economic growth spurt in Huntsville, Alabama, spawned by a new billion-dollar automobile assembly plant and expansions of government facilities, is also driving expansion in related areas of the local supply chain. One such area includes the need for more inventory of warehouse and distribution facilities.

A national developer spearheading new construction of the Huntsville Crossroads warehouse and distribution project in the region brought in BCCG to provide General Contracting Services. Before starting construction, BCCG’s pre-construction team implemented Design-Assist services through value engineering to uncover additional cost savings and provide the Client a cost-efficient facility solution within budget.

BCCG also provided Design-Build services for the mechanical-electrical-plumbing and fire-protection systems. Other features of the single-story facility include tilt-up concrete panels, office space, 39 dock locations, 2 overhead doors, as well as 20 trailer spaces and parking for 167 autos with potential for expansion.
