BC Construction Group (BCCG) was awarded the contract to manage new construction on a cost-efficient, pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) for Frito-Lay in Sterling, Virginia. The facility is a single-story structure and features eight dock shipping doors and two dock semi-trailer receiving doors. The property is 2.5 acres and the building is designed to accommodate both a warehouse and office spaces.

Keeping with a strong commitment to add the greatest value to its Clients, BCCG provided value engineering services for the PEMB structure. As a result, BCCG eliminated interior foundations and columns to maximize use of this facility. This adjustment affords the opportunity to increase production, resulting in more jobs created in the local community.
