Located in Wake Forest, NC, Endeavor Charter School opened it’s door in 2008. The school was founded with the goals of graduating students who are confident and curious, and providing an additional public school of choice to a district in need of options. In 2014, the school moved to it’s new location, a 29-acre site with ample room for growth. As the next step for the growing school, Endeavor Charter School selected BCCG to design and construct an expansion to support the needs of the school.

The 52,900 SF expansion adds dedicated middle school space for 6th through 8th graders and enlarges the elementary school. The project adds 15 classrooms, a gymnasium with an NCHSAA regulation court with bleachers, and a 300-seat full-theatre performing arts center with mezzanine. The facility maintains an existing soccer field and provides restrooms with exterior access to the fields.

Because of the anticipated changes to local traffic, BCCG worked with NCDOT and the city of Wake Forest to add a signalized intersection by the school. The site also needed the stacking capacity modified to accommodate the changes the expansion brings to the campus. In addition, BCCG worked with Endeavor Charter School to minimize impact to the current functioning campus.
